Mom and Wesley Visit

We had a great visit from my mother and nephew Wesley. Here are a couple of fun photos. The really cool one is Colton, Wesley, and the Crocodile. Sweet huh!!

New Yankee Workshop

Tiffany has faith that I can do just about anything. Most of the time i agree, but when Tiffany brought a solid piece of wood and some molding home I was concerned. We could not find any shelve we liked for the corner near our TV. The shelves will hold the DVD player and such. Tiffany wanted me to make the shelves from scratch. Now I love watching Norm Abrams and the new Yankee Workshop but I am not a wood worker. Ask my Boy Scout Leaders, my wood carving of a bear looked more like twig that was ran over by a car. Since she had so much faith in me I could not disappoint so off to work I went. I measured, then measured again and then cut. It only took me 2 days to complete both shelves. Here is a picture of the completed hung shelves. They do look very good. That is Cali admiring the shelves at the bottom of picture.

Toothy, Fancy and Green

Caiden had his first tooth come through today. I think you can see the reflection off it in the picture. He is awnry!! He is also on Amoxicillian because we have had strep in the house. We are not sure if the cough and runny nose are a symptom of the strep or getting teeth.

I had to put this picture of Cali in because she is so cute. Tiff bought her a new sweater and when she put it on she said "look dad I am fancy". So this is her fancy sweater now.

Colton wanted to make sure his eyes were open for this picture. So he looks a little possessed. He commented that his shirt is his second favorite color. His favorite color is red because that is the University of Utah's color. He might get that from me but I doubt it.

2 sites to update

So, I got this new phone that has Facebook on it, so I have decided to try it out. The problem with that is now I have 2 sites to update every time I get on the computer. Still getting the hang on that. Here is the picture I used as my profile picture on Facebook. Just us 2 Princesses!! I think the tiara makes my eyes really pop.

I think this is the first picture of me on this blog. I made it 6 months......oh well.

So today I was back at work and it was busy!! It felt good to get back into the routine. Meetings all day so I had Chocolate Zingers for lunch. They gave me the sugar I needed to make it through the rest of the day. I highly recommend it as a lunch for busy people.

Sicko

So last week I was very sick. It is this crazy mix of strep and flu all in one. All i know is the the Dr gave me good medicine and 8 days later I still don't feel 100%.
Well, I wouldn't want to have all the fun alone. So Sunday Tiff was feeling bad, so Monday early I took her to the Dr. She has it know too!! But since she is breast feeding Caiden she can't have the same medicine i take. Th Dr. gave her a shot of penicillin right there in the office and told her to go home. When I had this I was down for the first 24 hrs. All I did was sleep. So I took Monday and Tuesday off work being Tiffany. I am not a very good Tiffany. Everybody got where they were supposed to but I do not have the patience to stay home all day. This staying home thing is real work. Watching kids, driving them to school, cooking, Cleaning, and everything else is not for me. Thanks Tiff for everything you do. This place would fall apart with out you.

Family is away

Tiffany and the kids spent the day in Sioux City today. They went back to spend the day with some friends from there. I am sure the kids are love playing with their friends from Sioux City. They have been asking to go see them for a couple weeks. While they are away I watched the Utes game in quiet. I also made 7 layer dip for me to eat as I watch the game. Here is a picture. It was really good. There is some left feel free to come visit and have some.

Ute's Win!!!

I just spent the last 4 hours watching the Ute's kick Alabama's butt in the Sugar Bowl. They are the only undefeated team in the Nation. They played out of their minds in the first quarter and Alabama could never make it back. I am usually not a vengeful person but it was great to see nick Saban lose. He annoys me. He did use to coach an AFC east team so that is a knock against him. Congrats to the Ute's!!!
